Meet the Pastor: Meet our Senior Pastor, Gary deBock, and hear his story, the church’s history and where he sees us heading in the future. There will be a Q and A time as well. Meet the Pastor at the Big Rapids campus will be on Sunday, October 14, at 12:30 pm, and at the Newaygo Campus on October 28, at 12:30 pm.
Baptism: If you are interested in learning more about baptism, please contact the office. It is required that you meet with one of the pastors/elders and discuss what baptism means before you will be considered as a candidate. The next baptismal service is planned for Sunday, October 7.
Ministry Opportunity: Is there room in your car for one or more people on Sunday morning? We have individuals who would like to attend church but need to have a ride. If you can serve in this way, call the office.
Marriage 2.0: Taking your marriage to the next level. A short-term group to learn skills to enhance your marriage. Before you get married, we provide marital mentoring to help you get started. Now that you are married, this small group will take you to the next level in your relationship. We explore how to maintain or improve your relationship with your spouse. We focus on couples who have been married less than six years. Although others who have been married longer are certainly welcome. It meets Sunday mornings at the church (BR campus, room 110) during second service. Childcare is available through the Trinity Kids program. For more information, contact Steve Wheeler.
Moms In Prayer groups are starting, and we invite you to join us or start a group to pray for your child or grandchild’s school. If you are not praying for your children, who is? We meet regularly for one hour and lift the children and school staff to the Father in prayer. To learn more contact go to www.MomsInPrayer.org.
Life Chain: Next Sunday, October 7, from 1:30-2:30 pm. Life Chain is a peaceful, prayerful, public witness – standing in honor of over 60 million lives lost to abortion, praying for our nation, for people in crisis situations and for an end to abortion. It is a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community that abortion kills children, and that the Church supports the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception to natural death. For more information, call Kathie at 231-796-3931.
