Meet the Pastor: Meet our Senior Pastor, Gary deBock, and hear his story, the church’s history and where he sees us heading in the future. There will be a Q and A time as well. Meet the Pastor at the Big Rapids campus will be on Sunday, October 14, at 12:30 pm, and at the Newaygo Campus on October 28, at 12:30 pm.
Baptism: If you are interested in learning more about baptism, please contact the office. It is required that you meet with one of the pastors/elders and discuss what baptism means before you will be considered as a candidate. The next baptismal service is planned for Sunday, November 4.
Cheers for Boomers: If you are 55 years old or above, we invite you to “Cheers for Boomers,” a place where people can know your name, hear your story, and help you finish well in your walk of faith! We will gather for a brief time of worship and prayer, and then have an informal time of discussion around small tables where we talk about our lives, our joys and frustrations, and our hopes for the future! We will meet Wednesday, October 10, from 10:00-11:30 am, at the church (BR Campus).
Moms In Prayer groups are starting, and we invite you to join us or start a group to pray for your child or grandchild’s school. If you are not praying for your children, who is? Life Chain is a peaceful, prayerful, public witness – standing in honor of over 60 million lives lost to abortion, praying for our nation, for people in crisis situations and for an end to abortion. Focus on Life Annual Benefit: Mecosta/Osceola Right to Life invites you to their annual fundraiser on Wednesday, October 24, at 6:00 pm, at Trinity Fellowship. The speaker for the evening is Sgt. John Wayne Cockfield. Since 1996, he has worked with NRTLC to promote public awareness of the present and growing threat of euthanasia. Mr. Cockfield has lobbied at the state and federal levels for passage of anti-euthansia legislation. He travels extensively speaking out for protection of medically vulnerable people including the poor, the elderly, the disabled, and those who are chronically and terminally ill. Grief Support Group: Spectrum Health Hospice is offering free grief support sessions in the Spectrum Health Church Street office building in Reed City on October 3, 10, 17 and 24 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The program, Flying Solo Grief Series, is open to the public and is intended for spouses/partners who have lost their significant other and who want support and education around the grieving process.
