Baptism: If you are interested in learning more about baptism, please contact the office. It is required that you meet with one of the pastors/elders and discuss what baptism means before you will be considered as a candidate. The next baptismal service is planned for Sunday, December 2.
Men’s Fellowship Breakfast: To avoid deer hunting opening weekend, the men’s breakfast has been changed to Saturday, November 10, at Crankers Restaurant, from 8:00-10:00 am. Cost is $10.50. Toby Vance will be the speaker.
Worship Gathering: Please join us on Saturday, November 10, at 6:00 pm, in the multi-purpose room (BR campus), for an evening of worship.
Operation Christmas Child: For 25 years, OCC has been collecting shoeboxes filled with gifts and delivering them to children in need around the world. Each box is an opportunity for a boy or girl to experience the love of God in a tangible way and hear the Gospel. For more information, see the OCC display in the foyer. Shoeboxes are due back (at both campuses) no later than November 11.
Help Trinity Kids participate with Operation Christmas Child. Children are bringing in items and will be packing boxes in their classrooms on Novenber 11. If you would like to donate some items or help with the $9 per box shipping costs, please place items in the marked bins in the children’s wing.
POWERHOUSE Fund Raiser: Mark your calendar for November 11, from 5:00-7:00 pm, for the POWERHOUSE Fund Raiser. Be watching for more details. Everyone is encouraged to come!
The Season of Giving and Blessing: We have a wonderful opportunity during this Christmas season to bless and encourage our Missionary families with a financial Christmas gift from our Trinity church family. Please consider being a part of this Christmas giving season by sharing a portion of the financial resources you have been entrusted with by our Lord, over and beyond your tithe giving. Please log into our Giving page via our website and select Missionary Christmas Gifts. You may also contribute to this same fund with a check: simply include a notation that the check or a specified portion of your check is for Missionary Christmas Gifts. Donations will be taken until November 18. These donation funds will be sent to our Mission families in early December.
Meet the Elders: Please take a few minutes to view each elder’s photo, faith journey storyline, and why and how he feels called to be an elder. Click through each by browsing at www.trinityinfo.org — About — Elders, which routes to a collection at https://trinityinfo.org/about/elders/. You can also reach out to any elder directly by browsing “People” at TrinityConnect and using the contact methods shared there.
Invitation for Veterans: All Veterans are invited to attend a special Veteran’s Day musical tribute. This event will happen on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at the Crossroads Charter Academy Elementary Auditorium. The program will begin at 10:15 am.
“The Nutcracker: A Play,” Stage-M’s 2018 Holiday Offering, running November 15-18 at Crossroads Charter Academy Auditorium: This November Stage-M presents a holiday tale of adventure, based on a German story called “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King.” This Christmas classic is not the children’s tale of the ballet, but the Grand Adventure upon which the ballet is based, where good and evil clash, the pure of heart can save a life, and love can work miracles. It’s a story for all ages and includes actors from grade-schoolers to grandparents. Members of our Trinity family are in the show.Take your magical journey to see “The Nutcracker: A Play” November 15 – 17 at 7:30 pm and November 18 at 2:30 pm at Crossroads Charter Academy Auditorium. Tickets are $11 for adults and $5 for students, and can be purchased from Patterson’s flowers, The Old Pioneer Store and Emporium, Mecosta County Visitor’s Bureau, by calling the Stage-M TIXX line at 231-592-TIXX, or online at stage-m.org
