Baptism:  If you are interested in learning more about baptism, please contact the office.  It is required that you meet with one of the pastors/elders and discuss what baptism means before you will be considered as a candidate.  The next baptismal service is planned for Sunday, December 2.

Operation Christmas Child:  For 25 years, OCC has been collecting shoeboxes filled with gifts and delivering them to children in need around the world.  Each box is an opportunity for a boy or girl to experience the love of God in a tangible way and hear the Gospel.  For more information, see the OCC display in the foyer.  Shoeboxes are due back (at both campuses) TODAY.

POWERHOUSE Fund Raiser:  Please join us this evening, from 5:00-7:00 pm, for the POWERHOUSE Fund Raiser.  Everyone is encouraged to come!

Cheers for Boomers:  If you are 55 years old or above, we invite you to “Cheers for Boomers,” a place where people can know your name, hear your story, and help you finish well in your walk of faith! We will gather for a brief time of worship and prayer, and then have an informal time of discussion around small tables where we talk about our lives, our joys and frustrations, and our hopes for the future!  We will meet Wednesday, November 14, from 10:00-11:30 am, at the church (BR Campus).

Congregational Minutes:  The  August 26, 2018, congregational minutes are available for your review prior to the congregational meeting next week.  They are located in the Information Board by the east entrance at the Big Rapids campus and in the Family Room at the Newaygo campus.

Children’s Christmas Choir:  Ages K-5th grade.  Practices are Sundays 10:00-10:35 am beginning November 18.   Call the office 796-2600 to sign up.  Theresa Barger will be directing.  We are looking for a few CFK approved adults to assist.  Children will perform on Sunday, December 23 and Christmas Eve.

The Season of Giving and Blessing:  We have a wonderful opportunity during this Christmas season to bless and encourage our Missionary families with a financial Christmas gift from our Trinity church family.  Please consider being a part of this Christmas giving season by sharing a portion of the financial resources you have been entrusted with by our Lord, over and beyond your tithe giving.  Please log into our Giving page via our website and select Missionary Christmas Gifts.  You may also contribute to this same fund with a check:  simply include a notation that the check or a specified portion of your check is for Missionary Christmas Gifts.  Donations will be taken until November 18.  These donation funds will be sent to our Mission families in early December.

Meet the Elders:  Please take a few minutes to view each elder’s photo, faith journey storyline, and why and how he feels called to be an elder.  Click through each by browsing at www.trinityinfo.org — About — Elders, which routes to a collection at https://trinityinfo.org/about/elders/.  You can also reach out to any elder directly by browsing “People” at TrinityConnect and using the contact methods shared there.
