Trinity Kids Christmas Choir (BR campus) is moving to Sunday mornings from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. K-6th grade students are invited to participate as Theresa directs the children in two very fun Christmas Songs for the Christmas Eve Service. (Possibly either Sunday December 22 or December 29 also) Please sign your child(ren) into both Choir and their class when you check in on Sundays. We will walk them over to their classes at 10:45. If you are attending 1st service, please sit near an aisle so you can slip out to bring your children to choir at 10:00 am with minimal disruption of the service. Thank you.
Operation Christmas Child: Shoeboxes are due back this morning, November 10, at the Big Rapids Campus. If you forgot to bring yours today, you can drop it off at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church until November 25. (Tell them it is from Trinity Fellowship.) Please call 231-796-8782 for drop off times.
Congregational Meeting Minutes: The minutes from the August congregational meeting are available on the Information Board (at the main entrance) in Big Rapids and at the Welcome Desk in the Family Room in Newaygo. Please pick up a copy for your review prior to the November 24 congregational meeting.
Cheers for Boomers: If you are 55 years old or above, we invite you to “Cheers for Boomers”: a place where people can know your name, hear your story, and help you finish well in your walk of faith! We will gather for a brief time of worship and prayer, and then have an informal time of discussion around small tables where we talk about our lives, our joys and frustrations, and our hopes for the future! We will meet Wednesday, November 13, from 10:00-11:30 am at the church (BR Campus). Questions? Call the office.
Kitchen Training: A kitchen training session will be held in the Big Rapids Ministry Center kitchen on Thursday, October 14, at 7:00 pm. It is important that you be in attendance on time and be there for the duration to be kitchen approved. If you want to be approved as a person in charge to use any of the equipment, you must be approved and trained per heath department regulations. RSVP to the office at 231-796-2600.
The Season of Giving and Blessing: We have a wonderful opportunity during this Christmas season to bless and encourage our missionary families with a financial Christmas gift from our Trinity Church family. Please consider being a part of this Christmas giving season by sharing a portion of the financial resources you have been entrusted with by our Lord, over and beyond your tithe giving. Please log into our Giving Page via our website and select Missionary Christmas Gifts. You may also contribute to this same fund with a check: simply include a notation that the check or a specified portion of your check is for Missionary Christmas gifts. Donations will be taken until November 17. These donation funds will be sent to our missionary families in early December.
Custodians Needed: Two part-time custodians are needed for the Big Rapids facilities. We are looking for dependable and self-motivated people who have an eye for details and can organize tables and chairs for room set ups. Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays. Prior cleaning experience is preferred, and maintenance experience is a plus. Contact the office with a resume as soon as possible.
Veterans: You are invited to a special tribute at Crossroads Charter Academy on Monday, November 11, at 9:00 am, in the school’s auditorium.
Mecosta/Osceola Right to Life, Inc. will meet on November 11, at 1:00 pm, at Trinity Fellowship’s Prayer Room. Come and see how you can stand for those who are vulnerable.
