_______________

Baptism:  If you are interested in learning more about baptism, please contact the office.  It is required that you meet with one of the pastors/elders and discuss what baptism means before you will be considered as a candidate. The next baptismal service is planned for Sunday, June 3.

Men’s Fellowship Breakfast:  Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 19, from 8:00-10:00 am, and come to the Men’s Fellowship Breakfast at Two Hats Ranch.  Cost is $10.  Harley Blake will be speaking on “The Art of Listening – How to Listen To Others and Influence People.”

Prayer Matters:  We are meeting every Thursday evening for Prayer Matters.  It’s a prayer meeting that Powerhouse is driving, but it’s for the whole church.  We will be praying for the summer trips, Trinity Kids, the whole Trinity family, and praising God together.  We meet from 5:30-7:00 on Thursday evenings in the OutBack.

Ministry Opportunity:  POWERHOUSE Student Ministries is in need of servers on Thursdays, at lunch time, with Release Time Bible Class with the Big Rapids Middle School students.  You could help serve food, make food, interact with students, pray for students, help lead Bible study time, and more.  We see 30-40 students every Thursday during lunch.  This is a great opportunity to plant seeds of the Gospel in students’ lives during their school day!  If you are interested or have questions, please call the office and ask for Trevor or Andrew.

Cookie Dough Maker Needed ASAP:  We are in need of one or two individuals who would be willing to learn how to make the cookie dough for the cookies that we have each week.  (The volunteer who makes the dough every other week will be out of town for several months.)  The dough can be made at your convenience Monday-Thursday.  The baking is done by another volunteer on Friday or Saturday.   Kitchen training will be provided.  For more information, contact the church office ASAP.  (If you are already kitchen approved and can help one or two weeks in May or June, that would be helpful.)

Mother’s Day Roses:  Roses are available today for purchase/donation.  The annual rose sale is a fundraiser for the local Right to Life of Michigan affiliates (Newaygo County Right to Life and Mecosta/Osceola Right to Life).

Missing Your Dishes?  There are a number of dishes in the kitchen that need to be claimed.  Please be sure to check the kitchen, to see if any of the dishes are yours, by May 20, after which time, the dishes will be discarded/donated.

Lost and Found:  Please check the lost and found to see if any of the “found” items belong to you or someone in your family.  Items not claimed by May 20 will be discarded/donated.

Can you bring someone to church with you?  Call the office for more details.

Be Courageous for Life – Life Resources Walk 4 Life:  Team leaders and walkers are needed for the Big Rapids walk on June 9.  For more information, call 231-796-4919 and see the bulletin board, located by the south doors, for details.  Sponsor pledge forms are in the church office.
