Summer Office Hours
The office is open Monday-Thursday, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. On Fridays, the office is open from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon.
Cheers for Boomers will meet on June 13 at the NORTH END PARK along the river at 10:00 am for worship, a potluck lunch, and games! Bring your own beverages, a dish to share, and any lawn games you may have. We will provide paper plates, napkins, and silverware. In case of rainy weather, we will meet back at the church (BR Campus) instead. Hope to see you there. It should be fun! (Cheers for Boomers is for those 55 and older) For more information, contact the church office.
PH IVP: Senior high students, mark your calendars for the second Wednesday of each month from 7:00-9:00 for pizza, prayer and praise!
Men’s Fellowship Breakfast: Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 16, from 8:00-10:00 am, and come to the Men’s Fellowship Breakfast at Two Hats Ranch. Cost is $10. Dean Hulce will be speaking on “Coming out of the Camouflage.” Dean is a hunting guide and has guided hunters across North America. He has written “Ultimate Coach,” “Trophies of Grace,” and “Deer Stand Devotions.”
Kitchen Training: A kitchen training session will be held in the Ministry Center kitchen on Monday, June 18, from 2:00-3:30 pm. It is important that you be in attendance on time and be there for the duration to be kitchen approved. If you want to be approved as a person in charge to use any of the equipment, you must be approved and trained per health department regulations. If you have questions, feel free to contact Bill Stanek. RSVP to the office at 231-796-2600.
Baptism: If you are interested in learning more about baptism, please contact the office. It is required that you meet with one of the pastors/elders and discuss what baptism means before you will be considered as a candidate. The next baptismal service is planned for Sunday, July 1.
Cookie Dough Maker Needed ASAP: We are in need of one or two individuals who would be willing to learn how to make the cookie dough for the cookies that we have each week. (One of our volunteers, who makes the dough, will be out of town for several months.) The dough can be made at your convenience Monday-Thursday. The baking is done by another volunteer on Friday or Saturday. Kitchen training will be provided. For more information, contact the church office ASAP. (If you are already kitchen approved and can help one or two weeks this summer, call the office.)
Can you bring someone to church with you? Call the office for more details.
There Are Always Lots of Places For You To Serve: We’re here to help you get connected, but the Lord wants you to take responsibility and initiative in being generous with the spiritual gifts and abilities He has given you, so that you can minister to the body. If you are not sure what to do next, give the office a call, share what God is laying on your heart, and one of the staff will give you a call back.
Child Dedication: If you are interested in, or need more information about, dedicating your child(ren) to the Lord, please call the office at 231-796-2600 for more information.
