Baptism:  If you are interested in learning more about baptism, please contact the office.  It is required that you meet with one of the pastors/elders and discuss what baptism means before you will be considered as a candidate.  The next baptismal service is planned for Sunday, February 3.

New Study on Prayer at Newaygo Campus:  Plan to join the study “Why Pray?” by John DeVries, on Mondays, from 1:00-3:00 pm, starting Monday, January 14.  For more information, contact the office.   

The Gathering is January 16 at 6:30 pm:  Women of Trinity, The Gathering is this week at the Big Rapids campus! Have you sent your RSVP?  Even if it’s last minute and you forgot to RSVP, come anyway! We will save a seat for you!

Women of Newaygo Campus:  A women’s potluck luncheon event is planned for Monday, January 28, from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.  The goal will be to discuss women’s ministry survey results and summary, discuss follow up from the Gathering event in Big Rapids, along with plans for Newaygo women in 2019.  For more information, contact the office. 

Men’s Fellowship Breakfast:  Saturday, January 19, from 8:00-10:00 am, at Two-Hats Ranch.  The buffet-style breakfast is $10.  This month’s speaker is Mike Wissink, FSU team Chaplain and Campus Minister of Fellowship Church. Mike has been in campus ministry at Ferris State University since 1994.  In 2001, he began a Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) chapter on the Ferris State campus.  The head coaches of the Bulldog men’s and women’s basketball, football, women’s soccer, and women’s volleyball have extended him the invitation to work as a Team Chaplain within their programs.  

True Woman 101:  Divine Design, a new study for women will start January 23, from 6:30-7:30 AM.  The study is by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth.  Attendees much purchase their own book, and videos will be used from Right Now Media to go with it.  Call the office for more information. 

A New Semester of Trinity Kids Has Begun:  This is a great time to join the team.  Let us know where you would like to serve:  Nursery, Preschool, Elementary, Greeting, Small Group or Large Group or Behind the Scenes.   Email ConnieLossing@trinityinfo.org or call the office.  You will need to go through the Caring for Kids screening process.

Volunteers Needed for Vertical Classes:   Are you passionate about God’s Word? Do you want to teach the Truth of Scripture to the next generation of believers in a small group setting? If so, Powerhouse Student Ministries is in need of volunteers to help with Sunday morning Vertical classes for 6th-8th grade students! We meet during second service in the Outback where we have breakfast together, dive into the truth of God’s Word, and apply it to our lives. Talk to Trevor or Andrew for more information.

Women’s Ministry Nursery Volunteers:  Volunteers are a huge blessing to moms with small children who would otherwise not be able to attend a Bible study, small group, or be mentored by an older woman. The Women’s Ministry has a huge NEED for nursery volunteers with many opportunities of varying days and times to choose from pending your availability.  Missions Committee Need:  The Missions Committee is in need of a secretary. If you have secretarial skills and a heart for missions, we would love to chat with you about our open position.  Please contact the Big Rapids  Church office at 796-2600 for more information. 

Baby Bottle Boomerang:  Life Resources of Northern Michigan and Insight Pregnancy Serves are local, life-affirming ministries. All services are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL.  By filling a bottle, you are taking a stand for LIFE. Baby bottles will be available next Sunday, January 20.  Return filled bottles to the church NO LATER than Sunday, February 10. 

Lost and Found:  We have an assortment of water bottles, articles of clothing, dishes, etc. that have been left behind.  Please check the lost and found shelves, located in the office wing, to see if anything belongs to you or your child. Items not claimed by February 3 will be donated or discarded.

Award-winning lecture series in Big Rapids and Fremont:  The award-winning January Series of Calvin College is in Big Rapids and Fremont. From January until 14-23, 2019, from 12:30-1:30 pm,  Fellowship Christian Reformed Church and the Dogwood Center (Fremont) are two of more than 50 remote webcast locations worldwide to broadcast one of the nation’s leading lecture and cultural arts series.  (Brochures are available in the office.)
