Baptism: We are celebrating with four individuals who will be baptized today. If you are interested in learning more about baptism, please contact the office. It is required that you meet with one of the pastors/elders and discuss what baptism means before you will be considered as a candidate. The next baptismal service is planned for Sunday, January 6.
Are you an engaging storyteller? Our preschool team is looking for a couple people who would like to try their hand at facilitating our large group for ages 3 to Kindergarden which occurs during 2nd service. Guyana Optometry Mission Team 2019 is being formed. We are planning to work in Crabwood Creek, Guyana, this year from May 10-21 (dates are slightly flexible). We are looking for optometrists, optometry or pre-optometry students, opticians, pharmacists, pharmacy students, medical doctors, medical students, nurses, nursing students or others involved in the health care field. We will also take several helpers (no medical background needed) to help with our trip. Please contact the office if you would like more information.
The Wednesday Morning Women’s Small Group will be starting Francis Chan’s “Amazing Grace” on the Right Now media app December 12. This is a four-session study. Watch the first video before coming. We meet from 6:30-7:30 am at Trinity in room 111. For more information, call the office. If school is canceled, the group will not meet.

Crank up the Hymns, Christmas style, will be Monday, December 3 from 7:00-8:00 pm at Crankers (in Big Rapids). Invite your friends and family to come join us for an hour of Christmas caroling together. It will be a great evening of praise.
Christmas Concert: The newly named River Country Community Christmas Choir totals over 50 singers and invites you to a wonderful evening of sacred Christmas music. The concert will be at Grant Fine Arts Center (331 E. State Road, Grant), December 9, starting at 6:00 pm. A freewill offering will be taken for Love in the Name of Christ. Come and celebrate the birth of Jesus! Following the concert, there will be a time of refreshments and fellowship.
Voca Lyrica presents its annual holiday concert at 7:00 pm, on Saturday, December 8, in the BRHS Auditorium. The program will consist of sacred and secular works. Also appearing in the concert are the TrebleMakers Youth Choir and the Con Brio Voc Brass Quintet. The evening’s entertainment includes a theatrical performance of the O. Henry short story, “The Gift of the Magi.” Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for Pre K-12 students. Tickets can be purchased in Big Rapids at the Old Pioneer Store, Patterson’s Flowers, Simply the Best in Canadian Lakes or at the door.
Senior Social Luncheon: Wednesday, December 12, at 12:00 noon at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 726 Fuller Ave., Big Rapids. Bring your friends over age 60 and plan to mingle with others during a delightful luncheon and program. They will be collecting donations for Manna Pantry (non-perishable food or cash.)
